Pre-playa:

NOTES: Make sure someone is in changes of guarding generator on truck load to make sure it goes on LAST

Early Crew

On-playa: (everyone, 1 hour)
- Meet placer
- Talk to placer

On-site: (everyone, 1 hour)
So we don't move stuff into a spot where a building is going to be
- Measure camp
- string out structures


Day 1: arrive 3pm, work until ~midnight (doug, rob, xuth, steve, chuck)

Unloads rental truck: (5-7 people, 3 hours)
- Kitchen , frig, kitchen counters, sink,
- Furishings, rugs, pillows, picnic tables,
- Shade structure, PVC 10ft x 4ft x4ft solid
- Cube: railings go around top, steps, bar, 2 grills, the bar (wood + top)
- Rebar: 250 pieces, 4 feet long
- Bikes: 5-6 autosub bikes
- Tools: in small cases, some not in cases, or packed in coolers.
- Cube decorations, plywood
- categories: kitchen, communal, personal belongings, cube, workshop

Setup Emergency shade: (30 mins)


(partial) unload container: (5 people, 1 hour)
- Personal belonging of early crew

Misc:
- Get generator gassed (flatulence) up and ready to go (1 person, 1 hour)
- Find ext. cords.


Dinner: (1 person, 1 hours)
Fire up a gas grill, cook something


Organization:
- Laying stuff out, planning where stuff is going to go.
- Reorganizing piles

Afterward: set up personal tent: (time not counted: 1 hour)


Day 2: 8am (Friday)

Locate stuff: (2 hours)
- Locate and pre-place kitchen construction materials, tarps, PVC, rebar, para cord, ball bungees, wiring, etc.
- Tape measure laid out to know where the rebar is to be placed.
- Layout kitchen, ie measure and layout strings
- Place rebar in position
- Drive in with impact hammer
- put PVC together
- lash rebar
- put on wiring for lights, (avoid usinfg ladders later to install)
- ball bungee tarps onto PVC framework
- raise structure , all hands and bystanders needed
- throw straps over top and attach to hold down tarps
- tie down ends and inside middle spines
- put in 2x4 angled supports, drive rebar and tie to PVC


Shade structure: Kitchen (7 people, 3 hours, set up)
- Drive rebar
- assemble pvc
- lash pvc,
- attach wiring for lighting
- attach tarps
- raise

Shade structure, tie down (7 people, 1 hour, tie down)
- tie down
- brace w/ wooden boards
- ropes from top of hut straight down

Set up Kitchen: (7 people, 5 hours)
- Locate Kitchen cabinets, plumbing, sink, shelving, picnic tables

3 people, 2 hours: set up counters
1 person 2 hours: set up shelving
1 person, 3 hours: plumbing + getting running water going
1 person, 3 hours: Grills set up, burners set up, drag propane around
2 people, 2 hours: set up yellow parachute


Doug cooks dinner (5 people, 2 hours)
(at the same time)
Layout of rest of camp (3 people, 2 hours)


Day 3: Friday midnight arrivals (work from midnight - 3am), to Saturday morning
Extra 5-9 people

- Setup personal tents, no personal shade structures, sleep

Main Shade structure:
