Overview of AutoSub:

11 years as AutoSub, 3 years precursor, always on Esplanade, 40-45 people, Dues: $390 before Firefly/$440 after, part of Boston Hive- 200 people village w/ 8-10 camps, AS has 30’ dome, aerials, dance parties, “thanks for building the dome party” Monday, (last year 50 events in the dome), hosted Reddit meet and greet, sundown beer toss, group space- quonset huts, full kitchen, family meal every night, campers do kitchen shifts, steam bath, slide off the dome,

What do we want to do this year:

- Refine not expand!

- EFFICIENCY

• • Damon: Ownership of tasks is efficient, good for camp

- Documentation is key, camp is lacking, better labeling of bins and pieces

- ALC group purchase in June

- quonset hut instructions by Kubo and Doug on the way

- Standardize event schedule

- Encourage hive camps to use the dome to tie in the village

Specific wants:

- Netting in the dome needs replacing this year

- Record sets played in the dome(!)

- Audio equip needs better protection

potential project- dj booth

- People stay assigned to one pod? (except for kitchen)

reminders? how to discourage flaking?

- monetary penalty for no shows? more work = less dues

        - what do other camps do?

        - Ask Tawny- Disorient

- Postcard mailing event is BIG DEAL

- LNT problem last year- fresh water leakage

Fundraising

- Last year: Smoke n Steam- Pete, daytime, beer/food, possible date April 27.

       -Harbor Arts wants art in the shipyards! Could have SnS there?

- 55 gallons of mead ready for bottling for fundraising

“What could possibly go wrong?” Logo? Theme would possibly help with buy-in, but there’s a lot of discussion around the need (or lack thereof) for this
